So today was a bust, well not completely as we did do 2.9 miles of the 9 we intended to. We were unable to get to the trail at the north end of the days intended hike.

Have you ever watched YouTube videos from India or Africa of vehicles attempting to cross a horribly maintained home made looking bridge and see the bridge break causing the vehicle to wither get stuck or fall off to its doom? Well we got to a logging bridge that looked like that and decided not to tempt fate of being one of those videos. More research is needed to find a way in to a spot to hike to.

Otherwise the hike was great, was along Flagstaff lake for quite a ways and pretty flat. 

 We must be bad dog parents as Allagash apparently has never seen waves and was scared of them. We found a good spot to get at a beach so she could experience the waves till she seemed ok with them.

Apparently not all of Maine is without bridges, maybe it's just the 100 mile wilderness as we crossed several today.

Jen got a pic of me and Alli, we are trying to use her 20ft zip line leash and it seams to be working better for both of us than the jogging leash.

Lastly it's very muddy out here in Maine this year...

Back at camp we will be digging into to maps and Google maps to find a route in for Thursday. Tomorrow we will be going to help my parents for the day.
