So back on the trail finally, we slackpacked, going to slackpack several days so I can regain my strength.

Today was all about seeing historical civil war sites in and around Harper's Ferry.

This is the cemetery.

This is Jefferson Rock

This is a couple churches

This is a look at the downtown.

Interesting info.

This memorial at Gambrill State Park is for war correspondences. It was built initially for civil war correspondence but now is for all.

You can tell school is out as there are alot of day hikers out and about, ugh.   They do not know trail etiquette at all so having to stop a lot for other people who apparently never see the need to let someone else pass by and they step to the side.

Enough ranting, take a look at some of the cool historical sites from today's hike.

At the end of the day there was a group doing trail magic which was great!
